Tiberias and Sea of Galilee

Capital of biblical Galilee on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. Take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum (Matt. 4.13 13.54, 17.24, Luke 7, Mark 1.2, John 4.46-54).  Visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. 

Proceed to Tabgha (Matt. 13, Mark .33-45, & John 21), the site of the miracle of fish and loaves. 25 minutes' drive.

Dan

This ancient city lay at the southern base of Mount Hermon and was the northernmost point of the ancient Israelite kingdom.  It was also used as a topographical marker in the phrase ?from Dan to Beersheba? (2 Samuel 3:10)

Cana  

Cana is a village in Galilee, four miles northwest of Nazareth where Jesus performed His first miracles and changed water into wine (John 2:1, 11) and healed an official?s son who lived in Capernaum (John 4:46-50).
