The fine print:

1. Prices are in NIS for a double occupancy of one night stay or a two-night package per room. Prices include VAT and free access to all our facilities (heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, pool table, library, rooftop patio/dining hall, ping-pong table etc.). Prices include breakfast.

2. Midweek: Sunday through Wednesday and Saturday (except if staying both Friday and Saturday). A one night stay is welcome.

3. Weekend: A minimum 2-night package. Thursday + Friday, or Friday + Saturday. One night stay is welcome on Thursday or Saturday but not on Friday!

4. a. Summer: from 1.7.10 to 28.7.10– see sections 1, 2, 3. From 29.7.10 to 31.8.10 the minimum stay is two nights, and on the weekend, Friday and Saturday. One night stay is possible on Sunday or Thursday only.  One night at Friday is possible if we have a room available, due to cancellation at the last minute. .

b. Holidays: the minimum stay is three nights on Rosh Hashanah; on Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) one night is possible; on Succoth two nights.  One night stay is possible at the last moment only if we have a room available due to cancellations, or an opening of one night.

5. Late checkout on Saturdays (except for holidays) is possible without additional charge upon Tehila's consent on Saturday morning. A guarantee to a late checkout is possible with an additional cost of 50% of the night rate. Please tell us upon reservation.

6. Rooms: we have 11 guestrooms, which vary in size, design, and number of beds. We match the room to the family size. As they are old farmhouse rooms, most are not large. Our rooms, however, are beautiful, unique, and particularly charming. Please coordinate expectations upon reservation.

7. Our rich homemade country breakfast is served in our panoramic dinning hall, overlooking a beautiful landscape. Other meals are not served, but there is plenty of choice nearby. We shall give you a discount voucher for most places (5-15%). Kitchenettes: 10 of our rooms come with a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, electric kettle, wine glasses and corkscrew, cutlery, and cooking ware. Rooms 3+4 and 10+11 share the same kitchenette and dining area. Kitchenettes include a variety of coffees, teas, sugar and sweetener, oil, and salt & pepper.

8. Each room is fully air-conditioned at summer and centrally heated at winter. In each room you will find telephone, cable TV, DVD, and bathroom. Internet connection is free in the Lobby and Club (no computer). Hairdryers, iron and ironing board, a baby tub and children's bed guards are each available upon request.

Bathrooms: Rooms 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 have a corner Jacuzzi (for 2 people) in the bathroom. Room 1 has a hipbath. Rooms 10, 11 have elegant showers.

We cannot always guarantee a room with a Jacuzzi. If that is a precondition to your reservation, please inform us upon reservation and we will see if we can grant your wish.

Balconies: Rooms 1,2,3,4,10,11 have private balconies with a little sitting area for two.

Stairs:  Rooms 1,5,6,7,8,9 are on the ground floor. Rooms 2,3,4 are on the second floor. 6 steps lead to room 2, and 18 comfortable steps lead to rooms 3+4. 24 steep steps lead to rooms 10+11 with their enchanting view.

9. Family rooms: in most rooms parents and children share the same bedroom. In rooms 2,3,4 children sleep in a wooden sleeping loft, situated over the parents' bed. In other rooms children sleep in their own beds near the parents' bed. Room 1 accommodates a family of 5 children. 2 children sleep in their own little room, separated from the main chamber, and the other children sleep in a convertible sofa in the parent's bedroom. Families of 2 children, who wish their children to sleep in their own room, may reserve the room with additional cost.

10. View: each of our rooms affords a beautiful sight. Some overlook the blooming garden of the courtyard, some offer the view of Mount Hermon, and others overlook the Hula valley.

11. Unfortunately, we cannot promise a particular room. We have only 11 different rooms and each is different from the other. However, if you have a precondition, please inform us upon reservation and we will see whether we can grant your wish or not.

12. Securing a reservation: Upon making a reservation, we shall send you a Reservation Agreement by fax or e-mail. Please feel in your credit card information, sign it and fax it back to us. The agreement is a security deposit (subjected to our Cancellation Policy, sections 13-14 below). On checkout, we would prefer payment in check or cash. Please note that discounts are applicable to cash payments only.

13. Cancellation/Change of Date Policy

  1. Cancellations entail prior notice by telephone and by e-mail or fax. We will send you a verification, stamped and signed, that your cancellation message was received.
  2. Cancellation or change of date without charge: we must receive 10 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival.
  3. Cancellation of 2 or more rooms without charge is possible with 14 days prior notice.
  4. If any full or partial cancellation or change of dates is made less than 10/14 days prior to arrival, regardless of the reason, you are financially responsible for the entire reservation, unless we can re-book your room. If we are unable to re-book, you are always welcome to send friends or family members in your place.
  5. Change of dates or early departure fall within our cancellation policy.
  6. As we are a small family-run guesthouse with high standards, cancellations affect us significantly. We realize, however, that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. Therefore, if we were unable to re-book your room and no-one has taken your place, we would give you 50% discount on a future 3 nights stay in midweek (exclusive of holidays or the season) of like value, assuming availability. This discount can be used by you or by someone on your behalf.

14. Damages: while accidents do happen, any damage should be reported. We would decide if we would cover the cost. Guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.

15. Pets: Unfortunately, despite our fondness of animals, we cannot allow dogs. We must consider our other guests.

16. The press reviews cited on our website reflect the impressions of their authors, and their words bind them and not us.

17. Barbecue: permitted only in the barbecue area, where you will find a large barbecue grill and a few small portable ones. Nearby is a supermarket where you can find all you need for a wonderful barbecue, including barbecue coal and briquette.

18. Warning: our courtyard is paved with cobblestones. High-hills are inappropriate.

19. Please let us know upon reservation if you have allergies (to duvet covers or pillows, flowers, bee stings, etc.), or if you have difficulties walking or climbing stairs. Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring a baby, a child or a third person.

25. Check in time is not later than 10 pm (22:00). Please let us know in advance if you plan to arrive at a later hour.

26. Room keeping and maintenance services are no later than 4 pm (16:00), and no later that 3 pm (15:00) on Friday, except for emergencies.

We would be delighted to give you additional information, and looking forward to having you as our guests.

Tehilla Israeli and her family: Amichay, Hemdat and Tom.
